My name is Meghan McClain, and I am originally from Springfield, IL. I graduated from college on the pre-med track with a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience and Behavior. Currently, I'm pursuing a masters degree in Computer Science. I think online courses encourage you to become more autodidactic. As a result of this, I am going to start this blog as a way of documenting my progress. I think it will help motivate me to learn code.

I recently took classes on the C# programming language and the .NET framework as well as Neural Networks. I am interested in machine learning and artificial intelligence. I really enjoy learning and taking on new challenges. My goal is to document my progress in learning code and my endeavor towards self-improvement. I am also hoping this blog helps give me a sense of responsibility. I think this will be a great form of reflection as well. By documenting my journey, I hope to have something to look back to and reflect on — my past struggles and how I was able to overcome them. I am hoping this reminds me of how much I have progressed and discourages me from having negative thoughts and self-doubts. My goal is to simply keep track of my progression and experiences.
